Our coats are designed in Belgium and crafted in Europe, in close collaboration with specialized ateliers and textile mills. We work exclusively with carefully selected materials and produce in limited runs, guided by pre-orders. This approach allows us to avoid overproduction and respect the natural rhythm of making.

THE FOUNDER

Kimono Belge was founded by Sara Van Steenkiste in 2018, driven by a desire to design with restraint and intention.

With a background rooted in observation, proportion, and material sensitivity, Sara approaches fashion as a long-term practice rather than a seasonal exercise.
Her work is guided by clarity of form, respect for craftsmanship, and an enduring relationship with garments.
